Hey you! It’s Thyme you’ve read the book Rx. I say Thyme, because that is the main characters’ name. I think you should read the book because it portrays a typical teenage life. Also, I would recommend this book because I think that many of us American young adults will understand what the author is trying to project.
People will be able to connect this to their own life and experiences. The book Go Ask Alice is similar to the book Rx because they both deal with teen drug abuse. This book is very interesting and it draws you in page by page, chapter by chapter. (Trying to be like Hannah right there.)
I liked this book and many others would too, because the parts of some of the chapters were really funny yet true. They were kind of ironic, because North is kind of druggy too…haha.
The only part of the book that I didn’t like was that Thyme and her friends were pressuring people into using drugs, which I thought was unfair. I do not think using drugs should be acceptable to any person.
I am really hoping that you read this book now because of my recommendation, and I hope that your reaction will be similar to mine. HUGS NOT DRUGS!
